Aug. 2--Chattanooga's biggest Internet venture failed to survive the bursting of the tech bubble, but former workers of streaming video firm st3 now are running more than a half dozen companies in the city.
Rather than bolt for bigger places with better tech reputations, they decided to stay in Chattanooga and found the city has what they need to do business.
"We're an Internet-based business. It's not necessary to be in Los Angeles and New York," said Aaron Hoffman, a partner in Tubatomic Studio, a graphic design company that specializes in interactive media.
